Grand Festival begins September 12th!

Splatfests in the Splatoon™ 3 game for the Nintendo Switch™ system reach a “grand” finale in the music-filled Grand Festival in-game event* ! From the minute your Inkling or Octoling arrives at the train station and walks through the ink shower unscathed, you’ll see why this is a Splatfest like no other.

This Splatfest for the Splatoon 3 game runs Sept. 12-15 with a four-day festival of music, ink-stained competition, and community fun. There are surprises lurking everywhere, from the field of competition to the rafters high above the main concert stages—where, this time, it’s not just the Anarchy Splatcast hosts Deep Cut who are getting in on the act! Players will choose between three different musical acts from all three Splatoon games as they try to answer the impossible question: “Which is the most important to you: Past, Present or Future?” To participate, you'll need the Splatoon 3 game and a Nintendo Switch Online membership*. Take a deeper dive into the expansive world and colorful characters of the Splatoon series with a brand-new single-player campaign, Side Order! Step into the role of Agent 8, a young Octoling who defected from the Octarians, see what’s become of Inkopolis Square from the Splatoon 2 game, and make your way up the Spire of Order—where you never quite know what each floor will bring.

Build your palette with power-ups called color chips to expand your arsenal and abilities as you go. Each floor gets increasingly tough, but don't worry—Side Order is meant to be played through again and again. With each run, you'll acquire more Prlz (pronounced pearlz) to spend on permanent upgrades to help make the next run a little easier.
