• The Online Play Test software is under development and may not be reflective of the full version of Nintendo Switch Sports. You may experience unexpected behaviour or errors while playing. If you encounter any issues, please note that Customer Support will not be offered and will not respond to individual inquiries related to these issues.
• The Online Play Test may be terminated without notice. Session times may also be shortened or extended without prior notice.
• Save data from the Online Play Test cannot be carried over to the full game.
• The Online Play Test software represents a game still in development and is subject to change.
• Participants are forbidden from sharing information about the Online Play Test publicly, including the sharing of screenshots or video footage from the game on social media.

When is it happening?

There will be five sessions in total, each one lasting 45 minutes:

Saturday, February 19th

• 2:00-2:45pm AEDT
• 10:00-10:45pm AEDT

Sunday, February 20th

• 6:00-6:45am AEDT
• 2:00-2:45pm AEDT
• 10:00-10:45pm AEDT

What sports will be available?

You’ll be able to play online matches of Bowling, Tennis and Chambara (swordplay)** against random players. You will not be able to initiate matches against friends who are also taking part in the Online Play Test.

What do I need to participate?

• A Nintendo Switch console (Nintendo Switch Sports Online Play Test is not compatible with Nintendo Switch Lite)
• A Nintendo Account
• An internet connection
• An active Nintendo Switch Online membership, either a paid membership or a free 7-day Nintendo Switch Online trial*

How do I get involved?

1. Sign in to your Nintendo Account.
2. Select the "Redeem" button above and redeem the My Nintendo reward to receive a download code for the Nintendo Switch Sports Online Play Test software. No points will be required to redeem the reward.
3. Redeem the download code in Nintendo eShop on your Nintendo Switch console to download the Online Play Test software to your console. Find out how to redeem a download code on Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch.
4. Launch the software during the play times listed above to join the test.

The reward code expires on February 20, 2022 at 10:59 PM AEDT.
This offer is available for a limited time only beginning February 16, 2022, and only while supplies last.

Request to participants

Please follow the below advice while participating in the Online Play Test:

• Attach the Joy-Con strap and hold the controller securely when playing.
• Make sure you have enough space around you.
• Don't stand too close to the television.
